INFORMATION
On this student project that lasted 2 months I worked as a Game Designer and Game Artist

Hell run is a fast platformer with some rogue like elements.

I used this software during this project.
Game Design
In a Hell run you control a character whose goal is to escape from hell.

You will be armed with a weapon and each time you kill an enemy you will get an upgrade which

will push the player to fight against the enemies.

You should kill all the enemies to reach the next level.

There are 3 levels at the moment.
Level Design
Here is the sketch of the first level I wanted to make a long level with platforms and horizontality
Main Character
For the main character I decided to take inspiration from ghost rider and give him a prisoner design.

So I made him a bare-chested skeleton skull with orange jeans to match the prisoner's clothes.

Moreover to add a little action the death of the character is an explosion.
Ennemis
For the enemies I was inspired by the enemies of Doom for their appearance or it is that they come from hell.

So I made them a monstrous appearance with their visible teeth and their big head.

I also chose to give them a red color to show that they come from hell.

For their outfit I was inspired by military.



Background
There are 3 backgrounds

The first one is the first level of hell with a predominant red color with several gradations of this one and the level is represented as a huge cave.

The second is the second level of hell with a purple color with several gradations of this one.

The third and last level of hell with a predominantly blue color and in addition to snow .

Having several backgrounds as the player progresses through the game gives him a sense of progression.
There are 2 types of tiles

Always to make the difference between the first and last level.
